Puppet Ministry:
The puppet ministry is lead by Kathy Hegler. We are "The Shake and Shine Puppeteers". Our mission statement is, "Spread The Salt Of God's Word And The Light Of His Love With Puppets." We are a multifaceted ministry. The kids from our church use puppets, clown skits, gospel illusions, dancing, songs, balloons, face painting, and whatever else we can think of that will help us to entertain and touch the community with God's love and the message of the gospel.  Most of our shows are performed in nursing homes, retirement facilities, the Veteran's home, local parks in the summer, and even other churches. Sometimes we perform for community events such as the Fiddles and Griddles Breakfast or The Caldwell Buckaroo Breakfast. We will go almost anywhere where they will allow us to put on a show with a Christian message. We perform between 30 and 40 shows per year, and most of them are in local nursing homes and retirement communities. After the shows, the kids visit with each person there. They pray with people and hand out lots of hugs. Touch is a very powerful form of ministry, so the HUGS and PRAYERS are a very important part of our shows. The MOST IMPORTANT PART is the fact that we entertain them with a show that gives a gospel message of salvation. We want to spread the gospel, show God's love, and touch people's lives spiritually as well as emotionally. We hope we are doing this. It's what we are striving for. In the process, we are all blessed and it's A LOT OF FUN!
